Anwar ‘Carrots’ Washington created his fashion label in 2015 after developing Peas & Carrots International alongside good friend Joshton Peas and rapper Casey Veggies. Carrots by Anwar Carrots is derived from his high school nickname due to his red hair and hometown roots in New Jersey and Florida. Since its inception, the brand has grown in popularity as high-profile celebrities including Mac Miller, Metro Boomin, and Kehlani have backed the fashion label’s name.  The lifestyle and clothing brand has released a variety of ready-to-wear pieces along with everyday items including tote bags and umbrellas. Its diverse range of items is styled in familiar tones reminiscent of vegetables while signature branding is paired with lively characters and quotes that correlate with the overall aesthetic. Carrots by Anwar Carrots has worked with well-known brands such Crocs, K-Swiss, and Puma and has anticipated collaborations continuously in the works.
